I was born into a soccer family, both of my parents played Collegiate soccer in the NCAA, because of this I’ve been playing since I could walk. I played at 3 different clubs throughout my middle school and high school career, then I went through the recruitment process and committed to play NCAA division 2 soccer at Western Colorado University.

Personal Statement

I want to be a mentor because I know what it’s like to be a youth player with big aspirations. I got to watch my older brother go through the recruitment process and had the help of my parents, so I want to help youth players in any way possible to obtain their athletic and mental goals. I have had 3 hip surgeries, and issues with my ankle, hamstring, quad, shin, you name it. I have am also passionate about mental health and truly believe that sports performance can only peak when your mind is strong. Through those trying times I learned how to go through it and come out of it a better person and player, and I hope to help youth players to do the same!

- At Harvard won the inaugural Ivy League Tournament Championship and advance to the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament in 2023 Before Harvard: - played for my elite sports school (SLZB) with boys as the first girl in program - also played in co-ed club team at BFC Dynamo as the only girl in highest youth league in Berlin - member of German Youth National Team U16-U19

Personal Statement

I think that student-athletes face a lot of pressure from school, sports, social life, moving etc. and can benefit from every support they can get on their way. Especially as an international student, there a lot of changes at once and the most you can learn of how to deal best with things is by talking to peers who have been in the same situation. Therefore, I think it would have been very useful for myself to have this connection, mentor and friend by your side. After experiencing 3 years at Harvard and an ACL injury, I would like to make the best out of my experience and help someone younger who will soon or maybe already face similar challenges.

Athlete Bio

Sports have always been a passion of mine and an outlet for my competitive fire. I fell in love with soccer from the beginning but I played other sports such as lacrosse and basketball all throughout my childhood. My high school and club soccer teams have achieved the highest success but not without some ups and downs. I am fortunate enough to have coaches and teammates around me to support and push me.

Personal Statement

I want to become a mentor because the leadership that I have looked up to has shaped who I am as a player and leader. Mentors can make a significant difference in an athletes development and I am looking to be apart of that difference. Having strong mental health and impactful mentors is just as important as developing on the field skills. I am passionate about positively influencing younger players and helping them to develop both on and off the field.

History & Psychology

Athlete Bio

My athletic journey has been shaped by those around me. Both my parents, and my three siblings, played college athletics so they became an amazing resource for me throughout my recruiting process. I landed on Hamilton College where I am currently going into my junior year on the team. I am excited to give back to younger athletes and share some of the wisdom and support I have received throughout the highs and lows of my career.

Personal Statement

It's really important to me to be able to give support to student athletes because of the unique struggles that come along with playing sports at a high level. I would not be the person or player I am today without those who stood behind me and helped me achieve what I have. Every athlete has their own path and experience, I want to be there to help along the way.

I have played sports all my life. For years, I played numerous sports that ranged from basketball or softball to Irish Dancing. I committed to playing soccer in middle school, where I joined an amazing group of girls at FC Westchester until we switched to Patriots FC a couple years later. It was a small club, so no one knew who we were and everyone treated us as the underdogs. However, we made a name for ourselves as National Champions in 2023. A couple months later I started playing for Connecticut College in the NESCAC in Division 3 athletics. Now, I am getting ready to play my last season of collegiate soccer!

Personal Statement

I've played soccer my whole life, and am lucky to have achieved a goal of mine of playing collegiate soccer at Connecticut College! However, when I joined my club soccer team at 11 years old, I began to experience new struggles I have never faced before. I know not everyone is as lucky as I am to have friends, teammates, and professionals that are there for me when I struggle mentally, which I was I want to be a mentor for athletes who need support, guidance, and someone who can relate. The Better Together platform is the best way for athletes to reach out and talk to a mentor, and I am grateful that I am one of these mentors that are here to help. In my future, I plan to have a career in Sport Psychology, where I can further help athletes who are limited in mental health resources. I believe all athletes deserve the right to receive mental health help, and I am thrilled to be a part of a program that does just that!
