I started playing fh in 5th grade, I wanted to play because my older sister was playing and I wanted to be just like her. I then joined NorthEast Elite and fell in love with the game. I was taught by the best of the best and really grew as an athlete and a person. I then committed to UMass Amherst to play D1 Field Hockey. I was at UMass for 5 years and learned so much from my teammates, coaches, and support staff. Following my 5th year (I was granted a covid year) I tried out for the USA National Team. It was a dream come true and something I never expected would be in my future. I made the team and have moved down to Charlotte NC to train full time. My journey had many ups and downs throughout.

I want to be a mentor for aspiring college athletes because I know firsthand how challenging and rewarding the journey can be. I spent five years as a college athlete, which gave me a lot of experience. I want to share my story, all the ups and downs in hope to encourage others who are navigating similar paths. College athletics can be overwhelming at times, and having someone who’s been through it can make a real difference. I want to be that support system to help others.

I played youth lacrosse for the Toronto Beaches Lacrosse Club. When I was going through the recruiting process I switched to Empress lacrosse. I went to the Canterbury School in New Milford Connecticut where I started playing field hockey, and now I play field hockey and lacrosse at Bates College!

I want to be a mentor because I think this space is generally under-supported, and while I was thinking about my future in sport, seeking support from people who recently went through it served as valuable insight. I value connection and truly enjoy getting to hear other people's stories. As a mentor I hope to serve as a listening ear for anyone interested in sport, school, or anything they're passionate about. Having two older sisters who helped me through struggles and guided my love for sport, I hope to be an older sister for athletes who need it.

Throughout my athletic career, I've been fortunate to have great mentors who uplifted me, supported me through difficult moments, and helped me navigate the pressures of competitive sports. Their impact on my journey has been profound, and I want to be that person for others. I'm excited to be someone who can help younger athletes work through the challenges of their sport and grow both as players and people.

To be a support system for young field hockey players hoping to play in college

I began my field hockey career at Franklin High School, where I was a four-year varsity player. I also competed at the club level with Warhawks Field Hockey Club, further developing my skills and passion for the game. I went on to play forward for The Ohio State University for four years, where I competed at the Division I level and served on the team’s Leadership Committee. My playing career has strengthened my leadership, work ethic, and love for helping others grow in the sport and giving back to the community!
